Deepika got many accolades for her look and performance in Cocktail. Her character as Veronica was accepted and loved by the audiences.

So much so that recently while she was at a restaurant, she heard a group of teenagers calling her Veronica At first she was quite stunned and it puzzled her...

However when she gathered that they were associating her with her character name, Veronica from Cocktail she was ecstatic!!

After Om Shanti Om- Priya Shanti & Meera of Love Aaj Kal, this has become her identity It has been a very productive and positive year for Deepika. Cocktail was a huge success at the box office.

Post which she has been engrossed in shooting for an electric line up of films namely Chennai Express, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Race 2, Ram Leela, Kochadaiyaan.
