Ajay is known to support those whom he trusts in delivering the goods. Rohit Shetty is a prime example of that who is one filmmaker with whom Ajay has worked in maximum number of films during the decade gone by.

Now that 'Son of Sardaar' has turned out to be a clean hit as well, one waits to see whether he would be forming a new 'jodi' with the film's director Ashwani Dhir.

"After being directed by Ashwani in 'Atithi Tyum Kab Kaoge', Ajay was bold enough to entrust the filmmaker with the responsibility of helming a multi-crore affair in the form of 'Son of Sardaar'.

Ajay could see that he had it in him to make it to the big league and the success of 'Son of Sardaar' pretty much justifies his belief", says a common source.

Though Ajay is not yet committed to make another film with Ashwani, he has words of appreciation for the filmmaker.

"Well, I have worked with him in 'U Me Aur Hum' as well and one good thing about Ashwani is that he is a very good writer too", says Ajay, "Also, he knows that comedy doesn't have to be just about slapstick; it is about situations and the kind of moments that come on screen which makes you say that 'yaar, achchi likhi hai picture issne'.

Ashwani is very good in doing that. This is the reason once we started executing our plans, the film went on an altogether different scale. I am content with what he delivered eventually."

Now one waits to see if this also leads to another film in the offering for the actor-director 'jodi'.
