The 12th edition of Marrakech Film Festival welcomed the largest Indian delegation ever assembled at an international festival some of Bollywood’s greatest stars and filmmakers are presenting their films to Moroccan audiences who are long-time Bollywood fans..

Karan Johar and his SOTY team got a taste of international stardom when Karan accompanied his Student of The Year team: Aalia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan for SOTY screening along with Rishi Kapoor and Boman Irani.

All three of SOTY newcomers where tremendously excited for the rare achievement of their first film entering the festive arena.Varun shared "It’s great that we can show our film to different countries. Indian emotions are very strong and I hope people catch onto that."

"People here aren’t going to understand the language, so hopefully they’ll understand the movie better with subtitles. We’re going to have a lot of fun," said Siddharth.
