2012’s most awaited, big fat wedding of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor has got an happy ending.

As expected, the event became a hit and got huge attention, in spite of the fact, that the couple chose to keep it hush-hush, private, simple and with limited guests at the marriage. However, the reception at Delhi proved to be grand, glittering and high-profiled one.

The guest list included politicians namely Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Rahul Gandhi, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Farooq Abdullah, Shashi Tharoor, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Arun Jaitley and Amar Singh among others.

Then, of course most of the Kapoor family members, Madhur Bhandarkar, Nandita Das, designers Ritu Kumar and Manish Malhotra, cricketer Kapil Dev, maestro Amjad Ali Khan are some of those who graced the Mughal-themed reception.

With all the formalities, parties and celebrations done, Saifeena will be back on their normal track on 21st Oct. For, their will start on with their professional commitments immediately, before they fly off for their official honeymoon.

Talks are that the newly-wedded will take off to Switzerland in December to Gstaad, where they will be holidaying till early week of January.

Meanwhile Kareena will be shooting an item song - her first post-wedding assignment - with Salman Khan.

Then from November, she will be busy with the promotional events of ‘Talaash’ with Aamir Khan. On the other hand, her hubby Saif will fly off Madhya Pradesh for the shooting of Tigmanshu Dhulia's ‘Bullet Raja’.
