Remember AR Murugadoss? The south filmmaker who delivered blockbuster ‘Ghajini’ with Aamir Khan and Asin? Ever since his hit venture several top notch actors have eyed on him and he is touted to have two scripts lined up with Shahrukh Khan as well. Now, if industry insiders are to be believed, Akshay Kumar will be working with him for a project shortly.

AR Murugadoss is as per reports taking his magnum opus with Ilayathalapathy Vijay, ‘Thupaki’ to the North as well! Akshay Kumar will reprise Vijay’s role in this remake and a hunt is on for the lead lady. Akshay has supposedly given his consent to be a part of this project where he will be playing an encounter specialist, despite the ‘n’ number of scripts that are already lined up for him.

Akki has three promising projects lined up this year, ‘Houseful 2’, ‘Joker’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’, apart from these he has also given his nod for three other flicks.

‘Thupaki’ featuring Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal of ‘Singham’ fame in the lead roles is a high voltage action entertainer that also has no dearth for comedy, sentiment, romance and drama. It is one of the most eagerly awaited films this year in Tamil and Vijay will be seen in a suave new avatar.

Buzz is that this film will kick-start right after ARM finishes the Tamil original, ‘Thupaki’.
