When 'Race' was released a few years ago, it was hailed as one of those rare suspense thrillers coming out of Bollywood that actually managed to keep audience on the edge of their seats and had them guessing about what would happen next. Now that the director duo of Abbas-Mustan is returning with 'Players', expectations are manifold all over again, especially so since the source happens to be 'The Italian Job'.

"Well, we can tell you that even those who have seen 'The Italian Job' are in for a surprise when they step into 'Players'. There are many more twist and turns that we have added to our adaptation of the film. You would have to anticipate a lot of things", says Abbas Burmawala, "So far in the promos we have just given a feel of the film to the audience; the real story is much deeper and intriguing. Wait and watch."

With twists and turns being the hallmark of Abbas-Mustan films, 'Players' is said to be no different. "There is a lot of double crossing happening all around so no one can really guess who is on whose side", chuckles Mustan Burmawala.

Other than the 'key players', the film has Vinod Khanna in a major role along with Aftab Shivdasani in a cameo. 'Players' has music by Pritam and releases all over on 6th January.
