While the leading lady of 'Lanka', Tia Bajpai, insists that this Maqbool Khan directed film is as entertaining as it gets, there is a bombshell just round the corner. Apparently the storyline of this film (based on the episode featuring Raavan's abduction of Seeta) unfolds in such a manner that it is Vibhishan (portrayed by Arjan Bajwa) who falls in love with Seeta (Tia), saves her from the clutches of his brother Raavan (Manoj Bajpayee) and hence triggers the downfall of his empire.

Tia doesn't deny the fact that the story revolves around just these three characters though she does add that her love story doesn't have any physically romantic angle to it.

"We wanted to do something different and hence even though there is romance between Arjan and myself, it isn't like that of Ram and Seeta. What you get to see is a silent-n-subtle love between these two characters where there is no physical proximity involved. On the other hand there is this one sided love from Raavan which is nothing short of distress for me," details Seeta.

Adds Manoj, "I am playing someone who is as wise as Raavan, as good natured as him and as powerful as him. While this is a major track in the film, another track is about this relationship between Vibhishan and Raavan. This is the reason why the adage of 'Ghar ka bhedi Lanka dhae' stays true."

'Lanka' is a Vikram Bhatt presentation and has released all over today.
