With initial preparations well in place, the stage is set for Ameesha Patel to kick-start her own film productions. After roping in directors like David Dhawan and Priyadarshan for her first two films (where she would also be playing the leading lady), Ameesha has almost finalised some of the best in the business when it comes to principal cast and crew members. Though an official announcement in this regard would be made soon, Ameesha declares that films made by her would boast of a classy treatment.

"I have a solid career that has lasted over a decade already; I am not going to let go of all the learning that I have gained over a period of time", smiles Ameesha who took a brief sabbatical before coming back fully charged while also wearing a producer's hat, "Even when I started working as an actor, those close to me felt that I was too educated for this profession. I guess now is the time for me to bring that education in play for my own productions. Mark my words, 'Ameesha Patel Productions' would be fusion of education and passion."

Well, one can well believe Ameesha if her educational background is anything to go by. After all for someone who is an Economics graduate from Massachusetts, Ameesha can well be expected to ensure that 'entertainment' is the key word when it comes to setting up her own productions.

"Yes, 'entertainment' is the key word but again, none of it would be frivolous by any means", declares Ameesha who would also be seen in 'Shortcut Romeo', 'Race 2' and 'Same 2 Same' next year.
