Ameesha Patel had gone underground for a while but not anymore. After announcing her plans of turning producer a few days back and roping in David Dhawan to direct her very first venture, she has now bigger plans up her sleeves.

"It was certainly heartbreaking for Ameesha to see some of her less deserving contemporaries move ahead in the race over last 4-5 years. However instead of fretting over the state of affairs and signing random films just to stay in circulation, she went back to the drawing board. So while production plans were definitely on, she has now shown how serious she is about her new role by getting ready for another biggie as well. Again, she would be producing this film," says a close friend of Ameesha.

Incidentally Ameesha has already signed David Dhawan for her first production and with this new biggie in tow; she would be working on both these films back to back. "Yes, we will be beginning shoot for both these films this year and complete them by first quarter of 2012. They would then release one after another in the latter part of the year," confirms Ameesha.

Looks like after lying low for a while, the pretty woman is now all set for a comeback, and how!
