Soham Shah's remake of 'Satte Pe Satta' has been in talks from the day it was announced. And since then names of actresses mentioned above have been playing musical chairs.

Earlier news was there that the director wanted Vidya to play the leading lady opposite Sanjay Dutt. However she was refused it and Soham then alleged to have gone to Aishwaraya, who in turn delayed to give an answer. Impatient with the wait, producers Asthavinayak decided to approach Madhuri and sources said that the 'Dhak Dhak' beauty demanded exorbitant fee. Moreover, it was said that Sanjay was also not keen to act with Dixit.

Finally now.... The makers are reconsidering to have Vidya on board. It is such that they need an Indian face for the role and hence Vidya seems to be apt choice. But the 'Ishqiya' famed actress is busy till January next year. So the makers are still left to play the waiting game….
