The intense cold war between ‘Dabangg’ star and King Khan is not new. And all know about the khaas dosthi between KJo and SRK… So this news of two extreme personalities coming together is really surprising…

Grapevines these days are churning out that Karan Johar has approached Salman Khan for his next production. The movie will be directed by Rensil D'Silva, ‘Kurbaan’ fame helmer and bannered under Dharma Productions.

It all started when Karan, leaving behind inhibitions to approach his buddy’s enemy, requested Salman to grace his talk show. However, the actor asked him to give remuneration as a token of donation for his charity foundation. Now the fact is Karan never pays his guests for the show; therefore, the filmmaker offered him a film’s project instead.

Hmmm, looks like KJo is keen to go beyond the friendship bonds and concentrate on developing his professional side.

About the project, sources reveal that it is going to be a fantasy-action caper, on the lines of the popular Hollywood flick ‘Ocean's Eleven’. “When Karan Johar heard the script, he absolutely fell in love with it. Both Karan and Rensil felt Salman was perfect for the main part,” added the sources.

Salman had previously worked in Karan’s 1998 hit movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and his special role was adored by all. If all goes well, let’s see how their chemistry works this time…..
