The movie became a huge family blockbuster when it released way back in 1994. Now one can watch ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ (HAHK) in modern version… No no not a sequel or remake… Arre, just read on to know what we mean…

Our birdies of late heard that the Salman Khan-Madhuri starrer movie has been looked upon as an inspiration by the team of ‘Ready’, also featuring Salman along with Asin. Moreover, it is said that Asin’s character in ‘Ready’ will be on the lines of Madhuri’s in HAHK.

In fact (and obviously) Salman had suggested the idea to director Anees Bazmee, since he believes that Nisha of HAHK is the ideal woman, the kind he'd like to take home to his mother.

Confirming the buzz, Bazmee told to sources that there is a lot of Madhuri in Asin's character and presentation. Besides they don’t have item songs in ‘Ready’ but conversational songs woven into the narrative. For instance, the first duet song of Salman and Asin is very much like HAHK and also, in the climax their wedding will have entire family celebrating, similarly to the backdrop of the hit song “Didi Tera Devar Deewana”.

On the other hand, Asin is very much thrilled to play Madhuri and remarked that she will be very happy if she has managed to capture even a fraction of Madhuri's effervescence.

Hmmm, Asin a la Madhuri? We have to wait for Ready’s release to check on that… What say?
