Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Tees Maar Khan' has been granted a U/A certificate by the Censor Board but the team isn't really worried about it. While the industry is in a wait and watch mode to see if this fun entertainer eventually edges out 'Dabangg' at the box office from the opening perspective, U/A certificate could well be looked at as an interruption, if not a major road block per se.
"It's okay, my 'Main Hoon Naa' and 'Om Shanti Om' were also U/A because while the former had an Army angle to it, the latter was considered a little too dramatic for kids. No worries, I am sure parents would be happy to bring their kids along for 'Tees Maar Khan'", says Farah while trying to keep her chin up.
Well, she can pretty much afford to do that. After all the film escaped Censor board's recommendation around 'Shiela' being beeped from 'Sheila Ki Jawani' and has now passed the film with only three minor cuts. Now to be fighting on any more cuts would have meant more consumption of time and energy than agreeing for a U/A certificate for a film which is anyways a family outing.
'Tees Maar Khan' releases all over next Friday with a US and UK release a couple of days earlier.
