They may be playing friends-in-arms wedding planners in 'Band Baaja Baaraat' who manage to throw their differences aside when it comes to their professional conduct. Ditto was the case in real life of newcomer Ranveer Singh and his two film old leading lady Anushka Sharma as well when they came together for this latest outing from Yash Raj Films.

Since they were not known to each other and carried a strong willed persona with a desire to lead from the front, what followed next was a brief period of discomfort and awkwardness due to which it took some time for ice to be broken between the two youngsters.

"While I thought that she was very high headed, she used to think that I am mad," laughs Ranveer.

As it happens in most stories, whether revolving around love or friendship, all was well between the duo eventually.

"Later when we spent more time on the sets, I ended up realising that she was quite cool while she too was convinced that I wasn't that insane after all," continues Ranveer, "There was this cold un-stated tussle that we had but it all came to an end sooner than expected. Thank goodness otherwise it would have been miserable for both of us to tolerate each other on the sets."
