Randhir Kapoor would be seen as a mad eccentric scientist in 'Action Replayy'. For someone who has been overtly selective about his roles and has returned from a hiatus this year with first 'Housefull' and now 'Action Replayy', it is a rare instance to see Randhir Kapoor in as many as two films, both of them with Akshay Kumar.

When asked if he shares any screen space with Akshay Kumar in 'Action Replayy', he replies in negative. "No, I don't get to interact with him. Even off the camera, we were not too familiar with each other on a persona note. However, after working in 'Housefull' and 'Action Replayy', that comfort level has come in."

There was one common topic that broke the ice between the two actors - Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

"Akshay has worked extensively with Karisma as well as Kareena, due to which we had a lot of in-house jokes to share," laughs Randhir, "Akshay is a gem of a person and really affectionate towards me and my daughters. He doesn't come with any starry airs whatsoever."

Randhir Kapoor would next be seen in Rahul Dholakia directed 'Society' which also stars other veteran actors like Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Dimple Kapadia and Sarika.
