Time and tide waits for none… This lesson was imparted recently to B-town’s most happening couple - Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor – by the media.

The two attracted the wrath of certain media group at a press meet, by turning up at the avenue two hours late than the scheduled time. And the consequence? The media people walked out of the avenue in a huff. They were not ready to take in the excuse of heavy traffic from the actors. Reason - the stars live close by from the premise; at a distance that can be covered in just half an hour.

The event had been to promote a brand of shoes that Saif-Kareena are endorsing and it was meant to start at around 8 pm. But the media was made to wait by saying that the stars are caught in traffic and will arrive at any moment. At last the media lost their patience and decided to call it a day at 10 pm.

When the two finally arrived, they were met with cold shoulders from the mediawalas. However, Saif had apologized for the delay to them as well as organizers and explained that they were struck in “crazy traffic due to visarjan”. But then, the apologies fell on deaf ears and the event was boycotted by the media.

Well, traffic or not, time has value Saifu….
