Finally the ‘Gangster’ gal is getting her chance to work with a star Khan.

Buzz is that Kangna Ranaut has bagged a film opposite Salman Khan, that too a project which is his first maiden production. The untitled venture will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. According to the filmmaker the film will have a lot of elements and will be a hard-hitting film with its fair share of comedy.

Over the choice of the heroine, sources reveal that Salman and Manjrekar wanted someone who could emote very strongly and look glamorous too. Well, going by her earlier performances like ‘Who Lamhe’, ‘Fashion’ and the forthcoming ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’, we guess they have made the right choice.

Our birdies found out that the film is remake of Manjrekar’s recent Marathi film, ‘Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho’. However the director maintains that the project is still on the discussion table and has not confirmed on the details.
