Once his film ‘Khatta Meetha’ releases, Akshay Kumar will put on his backpack and wear his picnic shoes. According to our birdies the Khiladi of B-town has planned an adventures trip along with his lovely wife Twinkle after the film hits the screen. Akki said to have decided to go trekking and biking in the remote areas of Jammu.

The idea struck to him when he was there to shoot a song for ‘Action Replayy’. The actor was awed at the unspoilt beauty of the place and he felt the experience quite soothing and peaceful. Akki with Twinkle is to explore some places in Jammu, especially those where one has to use a two wheeler or go on foot. They have even planned to pitch up their tents wherever they are for the night in the course of the trip.

Interestingly the star will be leaving behind his bodyguards and it will be kind of me-and-only-my-biwi trip. Akki is having no qualms of being mobbed by people on the journey. He said that during the on-the-road promotion he got used to the crowd and learnt how to deal with people.

Well, now that ‘Khatta Meetha’ is releasing today, we hope Akki sets out on his private adventure peacefully….

Directed by Priyadarshan, ‘Khatta Meetha’ launches south beauty Trisha Krishnan on Bollywood screen. The film also stars Makrand Deshpande, Rajpal Yadav, Milind Gunaji, Asrani, Aruna Irani, Urvashi Sharma, Johny Lever, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and other Priyadarshan’s usual set of actors…

The film is about struggling road construction contractor, Sachin Tichkule (Akshay Kumar) who is doomed to dream big. A hater of corruption, by the end of the movie Sachin succumbs to the system.
