The legendary icon Amitabh Bachchan has always been looked up for his unique personality and style. And director Milan Luthria has taken just a page from the actorÂs career graph.
The filmmaker said to be inspired with BachchanÂs ÂDeewar and he has brought it out through his forthcoming thriller ÂOnce Upon A Time In MumbaiÂ, starring Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi. Luthria designed Ajay DevgnÂs looks based on AmitjiÂs angry young man image.
Sources say that the director in fact had rejected almost 37 costumes and looks before he finalised the ÂDeewaar look for Ajay. Initially Luthria had planned to design Ajay in Big BÂs ÂTrishul style, but later he had a change of mind. ÂI happened to see Deewaar again, I loved AmitjiÂs all-white look when he goes for his fatherÂs funeral in the film. I realised that the look would work for Ajay as he looks good in white. Ajay wears white throughout the film. It gives him a different identity, explained the director.
LetÂs wait to see Ajay doing a la Big BÂ
