Salman: Banning films is absurd

Salman Khan who is the only superstar from Bollywood who is attending the IIFA event in Sri Lanka is now getting political after giving statements against the Bachchans backing off and then taking a step back by saying that there might be some prior commitments that might have kept them away from Sri Lanka.
Now, Salman is justifying the presence of actors in Sri Lanka; Salman believes that banning films of stars just because they showed up in Colombo is absurd.
He said, This way we won't be able to visit Kashmir, Gujarat or Afghanistan. If our people are in difficulty, we should not abandon them.
The bhola bhala macho hunk of Bollywood had forgotten that in India anybody can stop the screening of a film citing the most insignificant issue and the issue of IIFA is much larger and deeper.
Anyways, Salman is enjoying all the attention he is receiving from the Lankans and Being Human, stars can also get carried away.
But the heartthrob should know that an award which spells International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) cant be restricted to Bollywood alone. The south and the other woods in India who have proven its superiority over Bollywood many times also deserve equal participation.
It would be better if IIFA changes it names to IBFA (International Bollywood Film Awards)
