Bollywood helmers after surfing Hollywood films are now hitting the small tube for their inspirations. Helmer Siddharth Anand is now proudly saying that his ‘Anjana Anjani’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra is inspired by the hit American sitcom ‘Friends’.

Wow, what a revelation! But ‘friends’, Siddharth earlier flicks where also Hollywood inspirations starting from his helming career ‘Salam Namaste’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Priety Zinta was inspired by ‘Nine Months’ starring Hugh Grant and Julianne Moore, ‘Tara Rum Pum’ starring Saif and Rani Mukherjee was inspired by Russel Crowe and Renée Zellweger starrer ‘Cinderella Man’, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ was a mixture of two films Dev Anand ‘Teen Devian’ which also starred Nanda, Kalpana and Simi Garewal and the Telugu hit ‘Naa Autograph’ starring Raviteja, Bhoomika, Mallika, Gopika and Kanyaka.

Why is Siddharth declaring it now? Anyways people will come to know when it gets released like it happened with his previous ones…..

Anyways this Indianised version of ‘Friends’ is scripted by author Advaita Kala.

The movie is a musical and is shot in New York, Kuala Lumpur.
