The yesteryear screen queens Hema Malini and Rekha will be coming together in ‘Sadiyaan’, a Raj Kanwar’s directorial. Interestingly, the film will be a launch pad for Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv Sinha, stepping into the acting field with this.

For the filmmaker, this film has made his dream come true, for he said to have always dreamt of working with Hemaji and Rekhaji. “When I started my career, they had finished their innings as leading ladies. When I was working on the script of Sadiyaan, the script required two powerful actresses who had equal, meaty roles. And I could visualise only Hemaji and Rekhaji in both the roles!” stated Kanwar.

Having done with the film, the director found it great to have worked with both the actresses. He revealed that they were thorough professional and on an amusing tone said that they were very obedient.

“There were no ego hassles and both of them got along like a house on fire, chatting away in Tamil during breaks! Now the film is complete and both of them have come up with brilliant performances! It is an experience which I will always cherish,” recalled the director.
