The magic of ‘Paa’ is not something that will disappear in a jiff; it is still here capturing hearts, since its release few weeks back. The film has impressed all kinds of audience, breaking the barriers of language. On top of that, ‘Paa’ has broken all the norms of cinema, setting a new record for others that would be difficult to follow.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan’s good pal and Tamil Superstar, Rajnikant, conveyed his congratulatory wishes directly to the Bollywood legend himself. Rajnikant had been shooting in Fariyas Resort, Lonavala same day when Big B was there for Bigg Boss 3.

Both the legends had met and instant bonding said to have happened; where the two stars shared their good old times together. Quoted Bachchan in his blog: “Had a surprise visitor Rajnikant in my room at the Fariyas. He is shooting for 'Robot' with Aishwarya in and around Lonavala and dropped in for a chat.”

Big B further wrote that he had organised a private screening for Rajnikant in Chennai and he was meeting Bachchan for the first time after that. It is said that Rajnikant wanted to speak to Amitabh immediately after the film, but somehow missed the chance. The Tamil star was immensely touched by ‘Paa’, said sources. Bachchan went on: “Rajni was exuberant this morning. And we spoke for more than an hour about 'Paa'. He said we are all upset after seeing the film, not so much because of the content and its emotional quotient, but because now that 'you have done this, what are we going to do'.”

Balki’s ‘Paa’ featured Amitabh Bachchan as a 13-yr old progeric child; a first-of-its-kind role done by a 60-something actor. Besides, the film brought in reversal of roles, where Abhishek Bachchan became father to his dad.

Truly, ‘Paa’ has surpassed several cinematic ethics…
