Bollywood attractive and the bubbly spontaneity quotient of Bollywood 90’s actor-producer Juhi Chawla has made an earnest appeal to the Indian men at the parliament regarding investments in entertainment sector.

Taking time out from her ‘Kurkure’ and other routine shoots, the actress who is an inspiration amongst today’s wannabe as far as comedy timing is concerned was talking seriously at a press meet organized by ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) to deliver blueprint for attracting investment into the Entertainment Sector,

Juhi was speaking in her position as the chairperson of the National Committee on Films & Animation, she shared, “Whilst the government has announced that foreign investment in this sector is further permitted, the approval process is multi-tiered and cumbersome and does sometimes take inordinate amount of time. My appeal to the government is to streamline and to prepare an outline for this important sector and expedite the approval processes.”

Our bee adds, she started with her trade mark giggle & humour but later on went serious about the investment procedure.

ASSOCHAM has prepared the blueprint with a call for a National Media Policy, akin to the National Telecom Policy to create an active entertainment sector in India.
