During the shoot of 3 Idiots, Madhavan had fun playing badminton with few students on the campus. Unfortunately, the game way to a serious knee injury and Maddy didn’t give much thought to it at that time. Although the incident happened some months ago, now the actor is still nursing the leg and has been advised a complete bed rest by his physician and physiotherapist.

Madhavan is said to have carried on with the shooting schedule despite of his bad knee. He revealed that one can notice in some portions of the film, he is wearing a knee bandage.

Now with only a month for the release of 3 Idiots, Madhavan is on a promotional spirit, giving little consideration to doc’s advice. “I have to be just a little carefully not to bend my knee again. I will take precautions though I can't help being active,” said the dimpled actor.

Besides 3 Idiots, Madhavan is also excited for his other projects – ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ with Kangana Ranaut and ‘Teen Patti’, a multi-starrer project. While the shooting is still for ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, the release of ‘Teen Patti’ is slated to release early next year. Having legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Sir Ben Kingsley in Teen Patti, Maddy is eagerly looking forward to the release of the film.
