It was a moment of daughter representing her dad and indeed a father beholding the award in honour of his son. Certainly, the occasion of 55th National Awards witnessed Sonam Kapoor and producer Yash Chopra receiving the awards as a gesture of representing their family members.
Aditya ChopraÂs ÂChak De India was titled as the ÂBest Film for 2007 and his father-producer Yash Chopra gleefully received the award as his son couldnÂt make it up for the occasion. Similarly, Anil Kapoor adjudged as ÂSpecial Jury Award for ÂGandhi  My FatherÂ.
Shreya Ghosal enthralled the gathering as she rendered a Live performance of ÂYeh Ishq Hai from ÂJab We Met and later won ÂBest Female Playback Singer award for the same song while Saroj Khan was represented by Shabnam Khan on ÂBest Choreography for the same song.
Well, it was precisely an unusual juncture where the recipients werenÂt present to receive the honourable awards.
