The South industry is gearing up to make a big! The national award winner director T. Hariharan is bringing up a magnum opus with Pazhassi Raja. The movie is based on a popular Kerala King who is considered to have first initiated the freedom struggle against the British rule. Said to be the biggest historical movie of all time, Pazhassi Raja is a Malayalam initiation which has been proficiently turned into different versions.
So, our Baadshah has been roped in to dub the Hindi version. He will be lending his voice for a 45-sec prologue part. Sources are said believe that Hariharan had approached Shah Rukh in Film City, during the shooting of Karan Johars My Name Is Khan. Having a good rapport with director, SRK agreed the proposal and said to have recently recorded the prologue. It is also heard that the actor didnt accept any fee for this one. Shah Rukh comes from the family of freedom fighters and feels happy to be associated with such project - justified Praveen VC, executive producer of the movie.
The Malayalam and Tamil versions will be done by Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan respectively.
The bigwigs of Indian film industry have joined together to market of the biggest historical of all time, which is all set to open in theatres positively by next week. Mollywoods super star Mammootty plays the hero. Whereas, Kollywoods Sarath Kumar, Gyanpeeth award winner M T Vasudevan Nair, music maestro Ilayaraja, Oscar winner Resul Pookkuty and other high profiled names are said to be part of this one. The movie is expected to make a release with 525 prints in five languages.
