He was roped in for a special appearance in ‘Life Partner’, but his performance made the makers of the movie to extend his role in it, who saved the movie. Now, with ‘Do Knot Disturb’ soon approaching its release, Govinda is back with his favourite director David Dhawan.

The actor, who has given mostly comedies, has no qualms to be in the lighter genre and also don’t seem to be bother to be labelled as comedy hero. "I don't mind any tag, if it brings me success. And why would I have a problem with being called a comedian? It has made me successful. I am known as a comic actor by my audience," said the actor to sources.

The buzz has been in rounds of his toned down image. Taking on yoga and strict diet, Govinda is keen to try action films. Hmm, we wonder if he wants to be on par with his colleague Akki, who blends action and comedy well. Say Govinda, “Action films are no more about just fight sequences, they have become more entertaining and I would really like to be a part of an action film with stunts of international standards.”
