Modern technology is taking life along with it on a hi-fi ride. And movies are among those which use the latest upgraded technology.

Debut director Anthony D’Souza’s ‘Blue’ is making the right sounds these days. Underwater stunts, Hollywood artist, impressive cast, striking music and… its pen drive! Didn’t follow it? Well, recently the movie launched the audio on pen drives and memory chips! Yes, the movie has touched the height of innovation for the first time with this idea.

A production of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd., ‘Blue’ is labelled under T- Series. The audio was launched by Oscar winner and AR Rahman (music director of ‘Blue’), Akshay Kumar and Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series. The Maestro from Madras was overwhelmed at Blue’s idea of bringing out the music in such a novel way. He exclaimed, “This is fantastic. What one must ensure is that the sound is of the highest quality. Anything new is exciting for people and those, who believe in owning legitimate music, would be excited by this product. It is also a gate opener for future expansions, because right now the music is going to have MP3 quality and then in future it could have more high quality WAV files like 96 k, 24 bit and people will definitely enjoy probably four times better than a CD quality of music. So this is a great starting point.”

Even the Akki was amused with this innovative album. According to sources, Akki said, “After the pen drive, we’ll perhaps have the music album in an injection form. All you need to do is to prick the needle and you’ll break into song.”

Wow, now that’s what we call truly out of blue!
