Bollywood may have pressed the panic button and cancelled scheduled shoots due to swine flu. Recently Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor may have called of their shoot for Renzel De’Silva’s ‘Qurbaan’, however Shahid Kapur is ready to face swine flu head on.

Shahid who was at an event to unveil his look for a high-end lifestyle magazine felt that there was no reason to panic. Shahid felt that Bombay is a city that has resilience and can withstand anything. He also spoke in depth about how when swine flu had hit the foreign shores they had no clue and it took time to find the cure. However he thinks we are well equipped to handle the situation in India.

Shahid also confirmed that Kaminey would release soon, “we would go ahead and release Kaminey as per scheduled, unless of course the government passes a diktat.” he said.

Well looks like an excited Shahid doesn’t want the censor’s ‘A’ certificate or then the recent epidemic in the country to hamper his film’s release or success. Is it confidence that’s speaking Shahid?
