Saif’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’ is enjoying high status since its release. He is seen playing Rishi Kapoor’s character as the latter’s flashback. And with this, the actor has made an impression that he can play any kind of character given under the sun. But did you know Saif would have played John Abraham’s role in the successful ‘Dostana’?

According to sources, Karan Johar had first approached the Nawab actor the role before. But it seems at that time the star team comprised of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. So it made the actor to consider the offer. He wondered if the movie really mattered to him and whether he will fit in it. He thus aired his doubts to the Karan Johar. But Saif was not deterred with the idea of homosexuality or the heroes’ kissing in the movie. In fact he preferred to do the heroes’ lip-lock scene.

Now ‘Dostana’ has Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. We wonder how it would have been if Saif was in there. Hmm Naah! Don’t you think so?
