Lara What a Âbebo !

After Kareena KapoorÂs nickname Âbebo being used as a part of a song in her latest film, thereÂs another Âbebo on the block. This time around itÂs actress Lara Dutta in her brand new film ÂDo Knot DistrubÂ, where Riteish Deshmukh addresses Lara as Âbebo in the song Âwhat a beboÂ.
But, wait a minute! There is a twist!! This song has no connection with Kareena Kapoor and her nickname. Director of the film David Dhawan says, ÂThis song has no relevance to Kareena's name being beboÂ
So why exactly did lyricist Sameer, music directors Nadeem- Shravan, director David Dhawan and actor Riteish Deshmukh come up with an idea of using the word ÂbeboÂ? Is Âbebo the new favourite element for a hit song?
ÂBebo is basically a Punjabi word which is often used in a romantic context to compliment a girl, especially on her looks, as is used in the song 'what a bebo' in ÂDo Knot Disturb where Riteish is complimenting Lara by addressing her as ÂbeboÂÂ, explains David Dhawan.
At the recently concluded IIFA, Riteish Deshmukh and Govinda even performed to the song Âwhat a beboÂ. But in this case Govinda was surely not RiteishÂs ÂbeboÂ.
