The waifish actress Kangna Ranaut will be taking a break from her usual high-intensity, damsel-drowning-in-alcohol roles to do a comedy role instead. Kangna has been cast alongside the stunning Sushmita Sen in Anees Bazmee's comedy No Problem produced by Anil Kapoor.

Speaking about her switch, she says that she's fed up with people pegging her as the tragic type very much in the vein of the inimitable Meena Kumari. The bubbly actress reveals that when working on Fashion with Madhur Bhandarkar, she was constantly scolded by the director for being an introvert. But, pleads the actress, her heavy weight role in the movie required that she stay in the character of a insecure paranoid woman throughout the shoot.

Determined to put all that behind her, Kangna has sworn to throw a party and have a blast on the sets of No Problem. She's also looking forward to bonding with Sushmita Sen. News is that the ladies already hit if off when Sush approached Kangna and told her that she reminded her of her adopted daughter Renee. Sush is normally known to be warm towards her co-stars and Kangna is hoping that the chemistry translates on-screen where they are playing sisters. Incidentally, Anil Kapoor had a lot of convincing to do to get Kangna on board. Apparently no one was ready to believe that the lass could get people to laugh. Give the girl a break already!
