Upcoming actress and star daughter Sonam Kapoor knows what she wants from Bollywood directors more meaty roles! The slender beauty has nothing against hard core commercial films as long as the female lead has something more substantial to do other than shaking a leg. Sonam feels that most actresses are victims to the four-scenes, three-dances syndrome, that is they appear for a handful of scenes, a few dances numbers and then disappear from screen!

The young starlet, on the other hand, admits to being extremely cautious about choosing her roles.

Sonam, who debuted with Saawariya, went on to play the musically gifted but stifled Bittu in Delhi 6.

She is now slated to star in her father, Anil Kapoor's, home production titled Ayesha. Though both of Sonam's movies were box-office duds, she still perseveres to pick the right roles. But before you start pegging her as an actress meant for art cinema, stop! Sonam thinks commercial roles can be seasoned right like Lara Dutta's role in No Entry and Priyanka Chopra's role in Dostana.

We hope this young lady puts her money where her mouth is and doesn't succumb to commercial pressure!
