Hot star Katrina Kaif is fulfilling every little girlÂs dream including that of her own by becoming Barbie for a day. The slender actress says she was approached by Mattel, which is celebrating its 50 years of success in India. She then walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion week as the iconic doll in a show dedicated to 50 years of Barbie. The pink confection she modelled was designed by Nishka Lulla.
Kaif and will now be the face of Barbie in India, but the Katrina Barbie will only be a collective item in Barbie stores. Needless to say, Katz is over the moon about the endorsement and is totally enjoying her new status. And the actress candidly admits that she feels extremely lucky that all of this has been offered to her on a platter. On a side note, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was first approached to be the face of Barbie in India, but declined due to movie commitments. Thanks to AshÂs refusal, Kaif is fulfilling her dream of walking in BarbieÂs shoes!
