Even though a music band has nothing to do with the content of the film, the makers of the forthcoming flick ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ thought that creating a band named after the film will be a good proposition.

This was done as part of the promotional strategy of the thriller flick having the stunning Neil Nithin Mukesh and the bong beauty Bipasha Basu doing the lead roles.

The band named as “ADZ-Rising” rocked the night at the Enigma in the Marriot in Mumbai with their first performance.

The gang of musicians was led by composer Gaurav Dasgupta.

As the band performed, Neil joined and showcased his singing abilities by singing the title track of ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ directed by Jehangir Surti.

Bips also came onto the stage grooving to the tunes.

“ADZ-The rising” will be taking their music to the different parts of India like Bangalore, Delhi etc by performing at several hot spots in these cities over the next few weeks.

After the performance Neil said “I had the time of my life performing live in front of a fantastic audience. I am really exited to be part of this film and these unique promotions by Eros. The music has been receiving very positive response and I am looking forward to joining the band during the club trails across the country.

Viki Rajani, the producer of ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ along with Gaurav Dasgupta conceived the idea of starting the band.

He said “At Eros, we constantly endeavor to create a buzz around our releases through innovations as these to break the clutter around the numerous film releases. What better than a launch of a sensational and talented band like “ADZ-Rising” led by the music director himself to promote the film’s music and I must say the band along with my cast did a fabulous job at the performance last nigh”.

While Gaurav Dasgupta has created the title track, all the other songs in the film have been composed by Pritam.

The band members other than Gaurav are Dibyendu Mukherjee- vocalist and drummer, Roshan -the keyboardist, guitarist Mizo and Miss India Earth 2003 Shweta Vijay is the female vocalist.
