A staggering budget of Rs.200 crore is the reason that has crippled the battle movie for the time being.

As the film's story was based on an epic incident that has never been touched by the film makers before, the announcement of the project raised several expectations.

But alas the timing of the movie played the spoilsport and now it is heard that the film production may start after six months and this period can be extended too.

There is still hope as it is told that Sanjay Dutt who had decided to co-produce the film is very much charged up about doing it.
