Although there are enough number of experimental flicks which have chewed up the dust at the box office, the sad fate of these novel projects which came out of the daring mindset of Ram Gopal Varma has never being able to restrain the trendsetter to again show his true colour of juggling with wild out of the box ideas and making them grow into cinemas.

If asked why the director always has his own personal rules to follow while creating, the answer may be that the guy does not know any other ways to express himself rather than playing the risky game and waiting to see how the audience reacts.

Right now the hot news about the forthcoming works of Ram Gopal are about two flicks.

One is about the vast world of media and their tactics for survival and the other is a thriller to be shot entirely in Sri Lanka.

With this thriller film, Mr.Varma is putting his energy into travelling through a virgin territory never before explored by Bollywood.

This movie titled as 'Agyaat' will be made to give the viewers a never before felt experience in generating a feeling that a villain in the form of an unknown person or creature or anything that has life do exist but is never revealed thus increasing the curiosity factor and fear.

The members of a film unit that is part of a production session going on in a secluded place will be the central characters in the movie.

A star who is too obsessed about himself, an action director who is getting irritated as the each day passes by, an obedient spot boy, a heroine, director and the producer are some of the interesting characters who make up the film unit.

Ram Gopal Varma says that the setting of 'Agyaat' can be compared to the atmosphere that prevails in a reality show as the group of characters in a way is put inside the framework of a particular situation and the audience gets to see what happens to these people.

The film will also portray how the nature and attitude changes and the strange twists and turns that happens in relationships between the characters when all are just thinking of somehow to save their own life and are completely exposed as far as the pretensions and fake behaviour adopted by them in the times of comfort is considered.

This time also some deserving new actors will get the chance to make an impact in B-Town as Ram Gopal Varma wants new performers to do the roles.

He says that even though Indians love to watch thrillers only less number of films have been produced in India and the inspiration behind 'Agyaat' came from film like 'The Thing' by John Carpenter, 'Blair Witch Project' by Daniel Myrick and 'Alien' by Ridley Scott.
