With unprecedented success of Khuda Kay Liye boarding on their shoulders, PPC has opened an all new path for cultures to extend their boundaries through the means of films. Following this route, RAMCHAND PAKISTANI is also being slated as another Pakistani project, which will yet again help create a way ahead for both ways Film Transactions, breaking all the barriers.

RAMCHAND PAKISTANI has been directed by Pakistani Lady Debutante Director, Mehreen Jabbar and stars India’s ace realistic actor Nandita Das alongside the Pakistani actors like Rashid Farooqui, Noman Ijaz, Maria Wasti, Navaid Jabbar and little boy Syed Fazal Hussain. RAMCHAND PAKISTANI has already become a widely talked about film in both nations as this gutsy film was selected for the narrative section of the “Tribeca Film Festival 2008”, New York and was also screened at the “Seattle International Film Festival” in June 2008 and won rave reviews.

Recently the film has also won the ‘Fipresci’ Award at the “Osian’s - Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema”, held in Delhi. It has also been selected for the “Rhode August 2008 Island International Film Festival”, USA. Thus it seems to be a pretty right choice by PPC to reveal another Pakistani quality work to the Indian Cine goers.

Mr Shailendra Singh Jt. MD Percept Ltd. feels proud to have honour of associating both the nations via film medium. “We feel proud that after a gap of four long decades, it was PPC that had the glory of releasing the first Pakistani film in India. The response to the film was overwhelming and I hope the same for Ramchand Pakistani too. We at Percept Picture Company are looking forward to the release of Ramchand Pakistani with loads of anticipation, as with the consecutive releases from across the boarder will lead to a much positive atmosphere amidst both the countries." He quips.

For years PPC has been catering to the global citizens' quest for quality information and entertainment, by providing customized solutions across segments. Today, it is one of the leading corporates with a fully integrated in–house infrastructure for production across various divisions.

Entering the Genre of acquiring and distributing Pakistani films in India, PPC has straightaway set a benchmark as the first production house to have brought Pakistani films to be viewed amongst Indian audiences, something that PPC seems promising to keep doing. PPC has been producing innovative and quality films through an efficient film making process, by integrating content production, distribution, tie-ups for exhibitions, broadcasting and music rights. PPC's projects has always showcased differentiated content which catered to broad based audiences as well as niche ones enabling to successfully contribute to the growth of Indian and international cinema.
