It was just another regular day of a shoot of the film Alibaug. Director Sanjay Gupta was ready to call the shots. The unit was about to begin work when they realized that an assistant director who clapped the board was missing (It was later learnt that he was unwell and unable to make for that day's shoot).

Poor Gupta fell into a quandary and did not know what to do! Who would take charge for clapping the board because in absence of clapper it was difficult to keep track of the number of times that shot was taken and also the scene being shot. But Gupta's all troubles were soon put to rest and guess who came to his rescue. None other than Sophie Chaudury!

The actress clapped the board for her costars. What's more she got the hang of it instantly. The next thing Sanjay learnt that every actor on the sets wanted to take up the clapper board's job.

Whether Sophie was their source of inspiration or not, we don't know. But one thing we surely know is that Sanjay Gupta will definitely make it a point to cast Sophie in every film, what say!
