Yes, you’ve heard it right. Chote Nawab Saif Ali Khan, the ever chirpy Juhi Chawla and our very own Indian Cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni have come together for the very first time but not for a movie. We are talking about the new Frito Lays Ad campaign-Chala Change Ka Chakkar that combines the trio. The trio will be seen in TV commercials directed by ace Pradeep Sarkar that hit the screens by the 3rd of Feb.

Saif, Juhi and Dhoni will be seen swapping roles with the common man be it a rickshaw driver, school boy, traffic signal cop etc. This will be decided by a contest held and the winners switch places with Saif and the rest of the team. Saif is too excited to see which contestant can swap roles with him and live a day in his life. The role swapping process will have a telecast on TV at the end of the campaign.

At the official launch of the campaign on Friday evening, Saif was the highlight of the event in the absence of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The act opened up with Juhi pulling Saif’s legs with constant taunts of ‘Chote ….hey Chote’. The smart and clean shaved Saif Ali Khan appeared in front of the media in a very much gentleman like attitude. The journo’s were breathing down Saif’s shoulders with rumours of his wedding and Valentines Day being just around the corner.

Here is a transcript of the interview with Saif

Q: Saif if you would like to switch roles between a school boy, rickshaw driver, traffic cop – Which one would it be?

Saif(spontaneously): A school boy , living that innocent life again.

Juhi(cutting Saif short): But what about the exam time?

Saif: Oh ya! I would then prefer being a Rickshaw driver.

Saif(to Juhi): Im sure you would love being the Hawaldar( Traffic cop).

Q: If you would like to switch places with one person in Bollywood , who would that be?

Saif(Thinks for a while): Don’t know really….maybe a young Mr.Bachan or someone very successful…maybe a Shahrukh Khan or maybe just myself.

Q: Saif, you endorse a variety of products; how to you see select your brands and elaborate on your association with lays?

Saif: Well, there is always a lot of research involves in selecting your brands. The brand has to complement me and vice-versa. My association with Lays has been a great one , in fact it has even proved lucky to me.

Q: What’s the latest on the wedding front?

Saif(with a smirk): Well, no personal questions please.

Q: With Valentines Day round the corner, what are your plans?

Saif: Hmm..nothing as of now , but when the time comes you will find out like you guys always do.

Q: So, when are you getting married?

Saif( a bit irritated): As of now let’s talk about Lays.

Q: A little trivia on your wedding plans?

Lays PR: Guys, No personal questions

Saif (to PR): No, I’ll answer this one.

Saif(kind of giggles): And the answer is –No personal questions please. I’m in a hurry now, go to leave.
