‘JAAN- E- MANN’ the eagerly awaited film this Diwali/Idd, has tied up with UFO Moviez, the world's largest digital cinema network.

‘Jaan-E-Mann’ is planned to be released over 1000 screens, including UFO's chain of digital cinemas. This will not only enable ‘Jaan-E-Mann’ in gaining a larger audience but also recovering revenues in the maximum revenue generating weeks.

UFO, the world's largest digital cinema network celebrated the 400th UFO installations in the country with a screening of an exclusive curtain raiser of Shirish Kunder's directorial debut JAAN-E-MANN…UFO moviez plans to create a chain of 3000 digital cinema houses worldwide by 2008. It mainly aims at saving print costs and curbing piracy. "We at UFO are proud to be associated with Sajid Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Wewill fight piracy and ensure that a film reaches across on the day of the release itself. So far we have released 146 films in more than 8 languages. Our association with JAAN-E-MANN is a joint promotional and brand building exercise wherein both the parties benefit from each other. We will extensively promote JAAN-E-MANN in our 400 strong theatre chain," said Raaja Kanwar, director and vice chairman of UFO Moviez.

Producer of Jaan-e-Mann , Sajid Nadiadwala said, "We at NGE (Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment) have been progressive in thought and technique. Supporting a technology, which is fast changing the face of the cinema viewing patterns by maintaining quality, expanding the viewer ship and collections and reducing costs is something, I feel, every producer will support. UFO is an extremely cost effective solution for distributors, which is only Rs 200 per show cost. I have personally seen the results that UFO offers to the audience, distributor, exhibitor and producer. Most importantly UFO takes away the possibility of piracy.

Shirish Kunder (Writer, Editor & Director of Jaan-e-mann) appreciatively added, "As a director I would like that my movies get seen exactly in the way that I want them seen anywhere in the world. And to the widest possible audience. For me Digital cinema and UFO allow the film to be seen and appreciated by everyone everywhere.

The cost saving benefit, curb on piracy, wide release of the films, durability of media, promoters of regional specific films, lower break-even point are the significant standouts of digital cinema. Cinemas running UFO Moviez digital delivery system have consistently multiplied their box office collections.
