Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Shiva’ came and went away. But RGV continues to remain in news. Director Farhan Akhtar is of the opinion that the remake of ‘Sholay’ shouldn’t be made as the original was ‘perfect’ in itself and can’t be bettered. But the Factory continues to buzz with the remake of ‘Sholay’. The latest is that Asha Bhonsle is going to be singing the famous ‘Mehbooba’ number that is going to be picturised on Urmila Matondkar.

There are also reports that composer Himesh Reshamiya is also recording another version of the same song with Amitabh Bachchan. Apparently the video of the song will feature Himesh and Big B and will be used for promotional purposes. And if Himesh is to be believed then this version will be recorded with a retro feel. Mr Bachchan’s presence in the film had created enough curiosity. Now, with him singing the super hit song…I am sure it will do a world of good to the film’s publicity.
