Sexy, Stylish, multi-layered and eye catching.

Here’s a psychological thriller with a lot of heart. Exploring the mindscape of someone who has no memories of her past.

The film visually illustrates the confusion, the fears and the desire to believe what one is made to believe. Extremely visual in its storytelling, shot in the genre of thrillers, the film maintains a taut pace, pausing often for some real emotional moments and then speeding towards new twists and discoveries. A sort of cross between contemporary Hollywood panache and classical European elegance.

The look therefore moves away from regular glossy plastic fare that Bollywood has often recreated well and instead is more into classical frames when illustrating the mindscape – flashes, dreams, intentions – of the protagonist.

Musically too the film maintains the same feel of classic yet contemporary with strong melodies set against global rhythms. The entire feel therefore is of a stylishly created, seductively paced, visually strong product and is a story told with a lot of heart.

Starring Mink, Milind Soman, Sameer Dharmadhikari and Yukta Mookhey in key roles, 'Kathputli' releases on August 11.
