To get sound bytes from Aamir Khan is akin to digging a gold mine. On a good day, it can be one wonderful experience for an interviewer when if Aamir is off-color, then it is still an experience, though of a different kind. For a journalist with a leading news channel journalist, it was definitely not a pleasant outing a couple of days back when the latter scenario came true!

In an encounter with Aamir Khan for a chat, this young journalist may have had good reason to believe that he had hit a jackpot, but what turned out eventually was just the opposite. Off press for quite a while, Aamir Khan was visibly non-committing and uninterested in the journo's query as he was asked about his future plans.

Aamir clearly mentioned that he was angry with the media as it tends to blow things out of proportion. On quipped if this was a hint on any accusation that he may have been hurled with personally, he said that it was not just for him, but for the support of entire film industry that he wanted to call out the unprofessional behavior of media.

He said that he would continue to be off press till the time media, especially the news channels, start getting their facts right. He said there were too many dramatics involved in the news shown by media these days. On probed further, he said one thing that really irritated him was the use of background music when a news feature was on. He clearly stated that, "Sabse pehle to aap background music daalna band kijiye news ke duaraan!"

Mockingly, he also mentioned that today you are using background music and the day is not far away when you may also have a story writer sit along with the news channels and help create some more impact. Now that's Aamir Khan for you! Clear in mind and blunt to the point!
