For last couple of years, there has been a lot mentioned in the newsprint about the leading actresses being misbehaved with in public. With Bipasha Basu it has happened twice [in one instance John who was accompanying her even bashed the guy]. Meghna Naidu too has faced it twice, once in front of a multiplex and the second time she was the victim of a few voyeurs who sneaked in too near to her changing room.

Now it's the turn of Deepal Shah [of 'Kalyug' fame] to have been a victim of her celebrity image as she was roughed up by three men on Mumbai streets in midnight. It so happened that her car's tyre got punctured and she had to stop and make a call to her brother for help. Suddenly three men approached her and on the pretext of help came too close to her. While she showed quick presence of mind by getting inside her car, the men continued to pass indecent remarks to her before her brother came on scene and took her away.

As Deepal said later, "In those few seconds, I regretted being a woman!"
