India TV once again has made a desperate move to get TRP's. This time it was not some middle level silver screen star. It was Star TV. The channel has made an allegation that the Star TV show KBC has made under table dealings to get contestants on the show. The news channel in the name of scam has tried to show that the show allowed contestants from MTNL and Indian Airlines and the like who were also d\service providers for the show.

This has ridiculed the authorities and the management at the top in Star. The management has decided to take some legal action against the news channel. The management says that before airing anything so defaming the channel should at least have contacted us and cross checked the facts with us. The channel takes a strong offence of this. It does not consider this to be responsible journalism.

The scoop came on air on 26th January. The news channel made sweeping allegations on Star that they rigged and manipulated the show by letting selected people to participate more than once on the show. The news channel on the bottom line claims that KBC was pulled off air due to the so called scams that Star denies. It is reported that the show went off air due to Amitabh's illness and not otherwise.

We shall now wait to see what happens next.
