Was Sneha's 'Ash'-like persona in Lucky deliberate?

This is what wonders when one sees Sneha in the promos of her upcoming release 'Aryan'. Co-starring with Sohail Khan this time around, she has managed to register an identity of her own and looks different from what she was in 'Lucky'. Yes, there is a fleeting resemblance to Ash in a couple of frames here and there but these are far and few. Otherwise she looks like a sweet'n'bubbly college girl next door who is very much in love in Sohail and trying to get her upcoming household in order with her hubby.

Looking at her new look in the movie, one does get an impression that makers of 'Lucky' were deliberate in giving her a persona that would suit Salman Khan's pairing with her and hence create some news and hype around the movie.
