Bobby Deol was going through a rough patch professionally when Suneel Darshan's 'Barsaat' came for a rescue. A few weeks from now and the actor-director would be having a second release together in the shape of 'Dosti' that also has Akshay Kumar as the lead hero.

Interesting thing about the casting is the pairing of Lara Dutta opposite Bobby. Normally film makers shy away from casting two actors opposite each other who do not have a good success rate together. If one looks at Bobby-Lara jodi, it has hardly been successful at the BO, be it 'Bardaasht' or 'Jurm', inspite of each of them boasting of some positives.

Kudos to Suneel Darshan for still going ahead and casting the two together alongside his 'Talaash' pair of Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. Let's see if with 'Dosti', Bobby-Lara jodi turns out to be third time lucky.
