Mahima's patient wait for the cans to open

Never before in the history of Bollywood would one have seen as many as 5-6 movies of a mainstream actress stuck in the cans at same point of time.
But this has become a reality for Mahima Chaudhary, who started with a bang about a decade back in 'Pardes' and is still in the reckoning.
Sad part of her career is that there are numerous movies that are waiting to see the light of the day. Oldest of these is 'Hum Do Hamaara Ek' [co-starring Govinda and Raveena Tandon], that should have ideally been released around 2 years ago.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, whose 'No Entry' is getting ready for release, HDHE had an extensive promotion that came to a sudden halt just before its release.
'Gumnaam' starring Dino Morea and Suman Ranganathan alongside her went through the same fate and is not even heard anymore inspite of the number 'Naa Hone Denge' turning popular.
Films like 'Film Star' [dir: Tanuja Chandra], Chess... A Game Plan [dir: Manoj Bhatnagar] and Sarhad Paar [dir: Raman Kumar] have not even been promoted at all inspite of all these being ready for more than a year now.
One wishes that Mahima's fresh bunch of movies like 'Sehar' [dir: Kabeer Kaushik, co-starring Arshad Warsi] and 'Home Delivery' [dir. Sujoy Ghosh, co-starring Vivek Oberoi] go through a much better publicity route and get an appropriate release.
Here is wishing Mahima all the best !
